According to Reuters, the facility may remain offline until at least 2027 due to extensive damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sources said that the attacks on June 16 and 18 disabled both of the refinery&#8217;s primary crude processing units. Repairs at the 14-million-tonne-per-year plant are expected to take at least six months and could last up to a year in the worst-case scenario. The estimated cost of restoring the facility could reach $1 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following a wave of strikes on Russian oil refineries, gasoline production in Russia has dropped by around 25%, creating a significant fuel shortage.
