The affected area includes the <strong>TAIF-NK<\/strong>, <strong>TANECO<\/strong>, and <strong>Nizhnekamskneftekhim<\/strong> oil refining and petrochemical facilities, according to OSINT analysis published by <strong>ASTRA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Witnesses reported explosions early on July 8, while videos circulating online appear to show what is believed to be a Ukrainian <strong>FP-1<\/strong> drone flying over the industrial complex before the strike. Analysts suggest that <strong>TAIF-NK<\/strong>, located next to the <strong>TANECO<\/strong> refinery, may have been one of the intended targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nizhnekamsk Mayor Radmir Belyayev confirmed that a drone threat had been declared for Nizhnekamsk as well as the nearby cities of Zainsk, Yelabuga, and Naberezhnye Chelny. Although the immediate alert for the city was later lifted, drone threat measures remain in effect across Tatarstan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TAIF-NK<\/strong> and <strong>TANECO<\/strong> are among Russia&#8217;s largest oil refining facilities, while <strong>Nizhnekamskneftekhim<\/strong> is one of Europe&#8217;s biggest petrochemical producers.
