In some cases, owners are offering entire gas station chains for sale. Prices range from <strong>1 million to 150 million rubles<\/strong>, depending on the region, equipment, and other factors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main reason behind the wave of sales is the sharp increase in wholesale fuel prices. Independent operators are forced to buy gasoline and diesel on commodity exchanges or through intermediaries at elevated prices, while large oil companies prioritize supplying their own retail networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the <strong>ASTRA<\/strong> Telegram channel, Russia had approximately <strong>27,700 gas stations<\/strong> at the beginning of <strong>2026<\/strong>, of which nearly <strong>19,840<\/strong> were independently owned. This segment has been hit hardest by rising operating costs and disruptions in fuel supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Russia&#8217;s fuel market has deteriorated significantly since June, following Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries.
