Asked whether he has concerns about existential risks posed by AI, the president said, \u201cNo, I don\u2019t have any. \u201cI have concerns that if we don\u2019t win AI, we\u2019re going to be put in a very bad position,\u201d Trump told reporters late Thursday as he left Dallas. \u201cWe are leading China right now by a pretty good period.\u201d Trump was wading into a debate over AI\u2019s catastrophic risks ignited by a viral social media post from a former Anthropic and OpenAI researcher.
