Following her headline-dominating wedding this year<\/strong>, Taylor Swift has announced she\u2019s back with a new single, titled \u2018Patient Zero\u2019, which will drop on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI\u2019ve been impatiently waiting to tell you that my brand new single \u201cPatient Zero\u201d will be out on September 25 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) and it\u2019s available to pre-order now on my website for 24 hours,\u201d Swift wrote on Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Her Instagram bio now reads: \u201cAnd, baby, that\u2019s sh0w business f0r y0u,\u201d which ties back to her ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It isn\u2019t confirmed whether the new track is part of a companion piece to her 2025 album or part of a new era, but many are speculating that the song\u2019s title seems to be a reference to Swift being described as \u201cpatient zero for emotional contagion\u201d in a 2024 LA Times article<\/strong>.
