During the night of September 29, Russia launched another large-scale attack against Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia used 152 attack drones and three missiles. Ukrainian air defenses neutralized 109 aerial targets. At the same time, impacts were recorded at 24 locations, with debris falling at another 16 sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kyiv and the surrounding region were among the main targets of the Russian attack. In the capital, residential buildings were damaged. In the Holosiivskyi district, a six-story residential building was hit. One person was injured and ten residents were evacuated. In the Solomianskyi district, two private homes were damaged. Other civilian and infrastructure facilities were also affected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The consequences of the attack were also reported in the Kyiv region. In Bucha district, a Russian drone struck a private residential building. The resulting fire covered more than 300 square meters. Two people were injured and hospitalized, while the roof of a neighboring building was also damaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The attack once again demonstrated the consequences of Russia’s large-scale strikes against Ukraine. During the use of missiles and attack drones, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged, while civilians were forced to seek shelter from the air raid threat and leave damaged homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ukraine, meanwhile, continues the work of its Defense Forces on the front line. According to the General Staff, Russian forces suffered significant combat losses over the previous day, including approximately 1,440 personnel, as well as losses of military equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two types of actions should be distinguished. Russia carried out a large-scale attack across Ukraine, with documented damage to residential areas in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. Ukrainian Defense Forces, meanwhile, continue carrying out combat missions on the front line against Russian forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
