Contrast in Targets: Russian Attacks Hit Civilian Neighborhoods as Ukraine Destroys Enemy Logistics and Air Defenses

Moscow’s deliberate strategy of targeting Ukrainian civilians continued on September 4 with widespread drone and missile bombardments. Attacks damaged residential sectors, civilian transport, and utility networks in the Odesa and Kherson regions, claiming civilian lives and leaving numerous people wounded. In Kherson, Russian UAVs repeatedly struck non-combatants on urban streets, further emphasizing the terror campaign against peaceful populations.

While Russian forces spend high-precision weapons on residential areas, Ukrainian forces focus strictly on dismantling the Kremlin’s war machine. During recent counter-operations, Ukrainian forces destroyed an enemy drone storage, preparation, and launch base near Donetsk, alongside a command-and-observation post in Petrovka.

Deep operations also crippled critical support nodes, including an army fuel storage base in Rovenky and a military communications relay in the Kursk region. Additionally, drone strikes in Sochi damaged Russian air-defense assets, proving that enemy military installations remain vulnerable across the region.
