Drones targeted a Wildberries logistics center in Yekaterinburg, triggering a fire at the facility, according to Russian Telegram channels.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Sverdlovsk Region declared a drone threat alert and warned residents that temporary restrictions on mobile communications and internet services could be introduced.

According to ASTRA, the strike hit a Wildberries logistics hub. The Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ also reported a fire, saying it broke out in the first section of the warehouse complex located roughly 2,000 kilometers from the front line.

Russ & Wildberries later confirmed that a fire had occurred at the logistics facility following the attack. The company said all employees had been evacuated in advance, while the acceptance of new deliveries was temporarily suspended and redirected to other logistics centers.

ASTRA also reported that Rosaviatsiya, Russia’s civil aviation authority, had imposed temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg.

Earlier, on the night of August 5, another Wildberries warehouse in Aleksin, in Russia’s Tula Region, caught fire following a drone attack.

Previous drone strikes also targeted Wildberries logistics facilities in Chekhov, near Moscow, and Krasny Bor in the Leningrad Region. Regional governor Alexander Drozdenko confirmed damage to the warehouse area near Krasny Bor, where one of the company’s largest logistics complexes is located.
