Ukrainian Defense Forces have launched a targeted strike against fuel and lubricant storage tanks at the Yeysk oil loading complex in Krasnodar Krai, triggering a massive fire across the facility. This action comes as a direct countermeasure against Russia’s systematic attacks on civilian ports and international commercial shipping in the Black Sea.
The Yeysk complex serves as a critical component of the maritime port infrastructure in the Gulf of Taganrog on the Sea of Azov. The facility plays a pivotal role in receiving, storing, and loading refined petroleum products onto maritime transport, which directly sustains the logistics of the Russian occupying forces in Crimea.
By degrading key fuel supply lines, Ukraine continues to systematically target the economic and logistical capabilities supporting the invasion. The strike reinforces Kyiv’s strategy of holding Russian maritime hubs accountable for ongoing acts of aggression against international trade routes.
