Occupied Crimea is facing a peninsula-wide blackout following a coordinated series of strikes designed to dismantle Russian military infrastructure. Ukrainian forces successfully struck a major logistics and material supply depot in Novosilske, striking a direct blow to enemy sustainment capabilities across the region.
The operation also dismantled critical command infrastructure, neutralizing six ground control relays used to guide Geran and Gerbera strike drones. This included two relay stations in Sterehushche, three near Olenivka, and one in Chornomorske. Regional energy provider Krymenergo confirmed that emergency restrictions remain in place peninsula-wide after drone strikes severely damaged core electrical assets, leaving the majority of settlements without power.
Bright flashes were reported near the Tavricheskaya Thermal Power Plant, followed by complete electrical failures across Sevastopol, Dzhankoy, Simferopol, and Kerch. As essential utilities collapse, panic continues to spread, with growing traffic queues forming at the Kerch Strait Bridge as residents attempt to flee the peninsula.
