This is the very base from which Tu-95MS, Tu-160, and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers take off to terrorize Ukrainian civilians with missile strikes.
Today, those bombers paid the price. Russia’s “impenetrable” air defense systems failed spectacularly to intercept Ukraine’s latest long-range attack drones. The sky is no longer theirs.
