Heavy Civilian Toll in Kyiv and Pavlohrad Countered by Ukrainian Strikes on Russian Air Defenses

Kyiv experienced over 11 hours of continuous air raid alerts overnight as Russian forces launched intense drone waves across the region. The strikes left 40 civilians dead and 15 wounded. Tragic losses include the head of the Dmytrivka local community, Taras Didych, and a toddler injured in the Obolon area. In Pavlohrad, a Russian attack devastated a commercial building supply hypermarket, leaving multiple casualties and claiming the life of a young man.

While Russian strikes inflict heavy civilian suffering, Ukrainian Defense Forces maintain focus on systematically dismantling the adversary’s offensive assets. Operations in Bryansk targeted critical air defense and missile systems, destroying a Buk-M3 system near Klintsy as well as an Iskander launcher and a Pantsir-S1 platform.

Ukrainian units also disrupted enemy battlefield control systems across occupied territory. Precision hits neutralized a drone command post in Berestky, hit attack drone storage and launch sites in Hvardiiske and occupied Donetsk, and knocked out a Russian electronic warfare system near Znamianka in Crimea.
