Explosions in Kyiv lasted almost five hours. Rescuers and police began helping people from the first minutes of the attack. They managed to save 13 people, including evacuating residents from a blocked building in the Holosiivskyi district. SES vehicles also came under a repeated strike.
As a result of the overnight combined Russian attack on Kyiv, more than 50 civilian infrastructure objects were damaged. Among them are residential buildings, a dormitory, school grounds, shops, petrol stations and a flour production plant. This is another act of terror — immediately after the three-day pause in strikes on Kyiv. Russia deliberately continues to destroy the civilian population and infrastructure. Ukraine has every right to respond to such attacks in a mirror fashion — to strike facilities that sustain Russian aggression in order to make the enemy feel the consequences of its own terror.
More than 300 rescuers and police officers are currently working in the capital. They are extinguishing fires and clearing debris at seven locations, documenting the consequences of the attack and accepting statements about damaged and destroyed property. Tonight Russian forces also attacked Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Dnipropetrovsk region, Zaporizhzhia and Sumy region.
