The tactical encirclement of the occupied peninsula has forced the Kremlin’s hand. In a stunning admission of systemic failure, Russian-appointed head of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov and Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhayev have officially declared a State of Emergency across the entire region.
While occupation authorities desperately attribute the move to vague “economic problems,” the reality on the ground is an absolute logistical collapse:
- The Energy Void: Razvozhayev openly admitted that the power supply situation inside Sevastopol “remains critical,” leaving vast sections of the territory in near-permanent darkness.
- The Mass Exodus: Peak summer tourist season has transformed into a chaotic evacuation. Panic-stricken vacationers and local collaborators are fleeing en masse, creating multi-mile gridlocks consisting of thousands of cars trying to escape to the Russian mainland.
The illusion of a secure fortress is completely gone.
