Ukraine’s Precision Strikes on Refinerу in Moscow: A Potential Turning Point to End the War

Ukraine’s precision strikes on refinerу in Moscow are emerging as a potential game-changer capable of bringing the conflict to a close.

By targeting the fuel arteries of the Russian military machine, Ukraine is systematically dismantling the infrastructure that sustains the invasion. As severe fuel shortages spread across 53 regions of Russia, the Kremlin’s policy of prioritizing military needs over civilian infrastructure has reached a breaking point.

Recent data indicates a 10% increase in public support for ending the war within Russia following the strike on the Moscow Oil Refinery. This shift in domestic sentiment marks a decisive factor in the conflict: as the economic and logistical costs of the war become unsustainable, domestic pressure on the Russian leadership is intensifying.

This strategy is also changing the international agenda. In the run-up to the upcoming G7 summit, there is a growing drive to provide Ukraine with additional military and technical support, capable of bringing an end to a military conflict that affects the entire world.  By neutralizing the fuel required for fighter jets and armored columns, Ukraine is not only degrading the invasion force but also creating the necessary conditions to halt the bloodshed and restore peace to the borders of the European Union.
