Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of precision strikes targeting a Russian shadow fleet tanker, key transport infrastructure, and multiple military command facilities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

According to the military, the operations were conducted on June 16 and during the night of June 17. In the Black Sea, Ukrainian forces struck the sanctioned tanker FINA A (IMO 9283306), which is used by Russia to transport oil and petroleum products while circumventing international sanctions imposed by the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, and Ukraine. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Ukrainian forces also targeted two road bridges used by Russian troops for logistics and the movement of military equipment — one spanning the North Crimean Canal near Stavky and another near Voinka in the occupied Kherson region.

In addition, Ukrainian strikes hit Russian command-and-control facilities and drone operation centers in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions, as well as in Russia’s Kursk region. The General Staff said the operations are part of ongoing efforts to degrade Russia’s military capabilities and disrupt its combat operations against Ukraine.
