Large-Scale Drone Attack Disrupts Water Supply and Rail Traffic in Crimea

Following a large-scale overnight drone attack on energy facilities in Russian-occupied Crimea, rolling and emergency power outages continue across the peninsula. Some communities have also reported disruptions to their water supply.

The head of the Russian-installed administration, Sergey Aksyonov, announced a reduction in rail services to and from Crimea. According to him, only seven trains per day will operate, with all routes terminating at the Kerch-Yuzhnaya railway station.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military reported striking a bridge on the Kerch–Dzhankoi railway line, preventing trains from reaching Simferopol and Sevastopol. During the night of June 25, explosions were reported in Simferopol, Sevastopol, and several other areas of the peninsula, while monitoring channels indicated that the Tavriya Thermal Power Plant may also have been targeted.
