Operation Isolation: Occupied Crimea is turning into a dead-end logistics trap for the Russian army

Step by step, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are slicing through the Kremlin’s supply veins. Overnight on July 1, the peninsula was hit by a massive wave of explosions, gunfire, and sirens:

  • Saky Airfield Hit: A critical tactical strike successfully targeted the Saky military airfield.
  • Blackouts & Fires: Power completely failed in Feodosia, while a massive fire broke out along the strategic “Tavrida” highway—the military’s primary land transportation artery.

With every major logistical link fracturing, the civilian fallout is total. The fuel deficit is worsening by the hour, rolling blackouts have paralyzed local towns, and panic-stricken Russian tourists are desperately trying to escape through endless multi-kilometer queues at the Kerch Bridge. Watching their “fortress” turn into an unlivable combat zone is rapidly crushing public support for the war inside Russia itself.
